for the past few days i haven't been getting much sleep. staying up till 3-4 in the morning writing english and social papers. today is only wednesday and i feel like i'm going to fall apart. anyone have any ideas on how to stay awake? cause i still have a few more days to go and i don't think i'm going to make it. don't say coffee cause it doesn't work. since sunday i've had under 12 hours of sleep. holy sh*t, i think i'm going to go crazy http://asianet.ca/images/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/nervous.gif

Take a quick breather to do som stretches and push-ups and sit-ups. That'll get your blood going.

Herbal drinks are useless, if it's doing something for you, it's completely mental.

There is so little herbal content in those drinks that you'd have to drink 3 gallons to have any benefit.

I don't know about herbal drinks, but caffine dosen't work for me at all. Sure it keeps me from falling asleep, but I feel just as tired and unproductive as before I had the drink.

-cardio exercise a bit, do some jumping jacks or whatever
-a light snack to keep your metabolism up (exercise does the same as well)
-turn on ALL the lights in your room/surroundings
-i listen 2 music but some ppl can't study w/ it on
-keep your environment cold, heat makes u lethargic
-take breaks when you feel that you're drifting, go surf/read a mag/do something you can start & stop easily...this will keep your brain "interested"
-have a good laff (keeps your brain interested. I have a large collection of Chris Rock handy @ all times)
-drink lots of fluids so you HAVE to get up & go pee every now & then LOL

of the ones i've listed, exercise & lite snacks help me the most (i CANNOT sleep after i do either one or both)

but i find that all the ones i've listed help me stay awake
