You mean there actually ARE some local turbo rebuilders?? :dunno:

Wow... if there are, what is their level of quality and competency I wonder? (things that make you go Hmmm.....)

theres a place in saskatchewan, i believe they handle primarily industrial stuff, but ive heard good things of them.

also, i recall hearing about a place in b.c, dont have any contact info for them.

other than that, i havent heard about anything north of the border, but i think there are a couple shops who do competent work on rigs... might be able to handle an automotive turbo.

Rob over at Zippy's does good turbo rebuilds, he did the turbo on the Zippy's/Pro Drag civic.

there is a good turbo rebuilder on the west end of the city the name is triple 8 diesel parts. they do rebuilds on most turbos and do very good work. phone # 489-3888 give them a call and tell them you hurd about them form 780 and they my work something out.
