So im installing new house numbers and I need a piece of metal. Nothing crazy. probably 12-18" long, 4" wide and 1/4" thick.

I just have no idea where to even start to have this made.

Anyone have ideas?

You can get the metal at Metal Supermarket. They even sell brass and copper in all all sorts of sizes.

I have a piece of 1/4" steel plate at my disposal, 12.25"x11". If that works for you, I can cut a 4" wide slice for you(12.25" long). Almost free

I can have it sand blasted too.

PM me

In the future, in case anybody else is looking.. if you want mild steel or the like General Metal and scrap on the southside sells it cheap. I needed a 12"x12" hunk of 3/8" plate... and some rebar... they didn't charge me for the plate, just for the cut and the rebar.

That's good info thanks!

Already knew about the Metal Supermarket but it's good to have multiple sources.
