You're talking WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY back in the day, when shit was expensive. It all came down a lot a few years ago... But everything is on the rise again now... Because of SSD shortages, LCD...
Just something else I felt I needed to share... I had an epic cheat meal last night. I haven't had an "epic" cheat meal in what feels like forever.
Last night I had a couple burgers, a couple...
LOL. I thought I was fairly strong. But I think I'm just "slightly-above-average" because of how freakishly large I am.
There's another dude at the gym, not quite as big as me, maybe 6'4"? And...
Okay. You can get a decent 250GB M.2 PCI-E SSD for like $150, so that's not a horrible plan.
It just seems silly to no buy a laptop that already has a decent size ssd in it already.
Well, I'm doing 250lbs on the machine, so... fuck me. lol.
I should be using 25lb dumbbells? All so confusing. I guess I'll find out next time I'm in the gym!
Can't go today, for two...
That one has G-Sync.
But I just realized it's only a 15.6" laptop, and not a 17.3" laptop.
"Upgrading" the SSD? By installing his old 2.5" SATA SSD? And replacing a much faster PCI-E SSD?
Here... I just did some quick looking.
Order this laptop... both of you......
I guess if you're willing to spend another $250, you could step up a notch to a laptop with the GTX1070.
Good golly, I miss the days of a top-range gaming laptop being $1500, rather than...
Actually... Nevermind. Somebody else must have been watching this thread.
They're all sold out of the Gigabyte laptops now. HAHAHAHAHA.
That's what happens when you wait.
It only has a 128GB SSD. So, you're paying $100 more, and getting a smaller SSD? No thank you.
It should be $100 cheaper, because the SSD is only half the size.
Go with the Gigabyte. For...
Yeah. I was thinking I'd start with 40-50lbs.
Yup. Going forward I'll be doing 90% free weights and 10% machines.
Do you guys do dumbbell fly's for chest? I'm going to need a lot of free space around me for that, with a 7-foot wing span....
Yeah... A month is a long time. Some of these laptops might not even be available in a month.
Keep your eyes open for a good deal!
Almost epic. Should have spelled "writes" wrong. "rights" would have been humorous. I suppose. Fgt.
Went to the gym last night, as per usual, and the very first machine I went to use was out-of-order. I took it as a sign, and decided to go over to the big-boy section...
There's $100 difference between the two laptops. I think it's worth it, for the Gigabyte.
It also has a versatile ODD/HDD bay. Which you may never use, but still a great option.
It also has...
I don't know... I think zhao is pretty cool. And I think Vik is pretty cool. Where's the problem?
They can also both type in complete sentences/paragraphs. Although I believe Vik has better...
I've got nothing against MSI. Gigabyte is my personal favorite.
And if there were any current offerings from ASUS, I probably would have recommended that. But they're all "while supplies last"...
We used Shignanski Construction out of Sherwood Park. They did an AMAZING reno on the master bathroom at the farm.
Just organizing my workout spreadsheets.
I decided to take a look back at my progress... Compared the weights I was lifting almost precisely 1 year ago, to where I'm at today.
I won't post...
