Tried light painting for the first time last night. This was my third attempt before I decided I was too cold.

What were your camera settings, how long of an exposure? 15s?

Tried this a few times on my car but the light hits the black paint so hard. Hasn't turned out well yet - yours looks amazing though.

I played around a bit after some failed attempts at getting pictures of the meteor shower that night. That shot was at F5.0 with a 30 second exposure and ISO at 3200. I find you have to try to "soften" the light, so avoid shining it directly at where you're trying to brighten it up if that makes sense.
