Good choice going with the K24 one and not the V6. It blows my mind that Honda can build a decent V6 but not an automatic transmission that can last. My parents Pilot has been on 3 different ones in 360k but this 3rd one has been doing pretty well *knock on wood*

Doing a rebuild with good aftermarket friction plates and shift kit will solve all it's issues. The stock friction discs look like junk compared to good after markets.

Picked up a Google Home and an Ecobee3 with the remote sensor. Anyone have any experience with either of these products?

I'm running 2 Google homes, and am ecobee3 with 2sensors. Along with wink, chromecast and a bunch of other stuff.

Looking at adding a couple more GH's for the garage and exercise room. Love these things

Even the automatics? I know the manual ones that shared the same transmission in the Accord v6 6spd, the Civic Si (6spd), RSXS 6spd, and Acura CLS-TypeS all had that 3rd gear syncrho issue. Didn't know the transmissions for the v6 autos sucked balls too.

How is the Ecobee3 with the sensors? Any issues?

It's great, we've had both the nest and ecobee, and the ecobee wins hand down for us.

The extra sensors help out huge in our two story house. At night the thermostat regulates the top floor instead of the main floor where it's l9cated.

The only thing I've had to do is change a battery out in the sensor.
