Good god 15GB, it blows my mind people even need 10 GBs. Is wifi not a thing anymore? I'm happy paying $40 for 4GBs

But since you don't get a discount for bringing your own phone, it isn't a real charge to say you're paying a device balance each month. If you find the right call agent to complain to, you can get 15$ a month off your plan for having your own phone. So even if you want to count that and say you pay 360$ over the course of a 2 year contract for device balance, if you add that to the 300$ up front discounted cost of an IphoneX, you still only paid 660$ for a 1300$ phone. So you still got your premium phone at a 50% discount.
the math on my new note 8 did not work out to anywhere near 50%. i think it was around $200, 300 at most when i bought it.

same goes with my note 5 when i got it ywars ago.

I typically use 4-5 GB per month.

between streaming music, work emails and social media, it adds up fast. as for wifi, i only use it at home. i dont use office wifi because it fucking sucks.

could i survive on 2 gbs? most likely.

the places i do use data outside of work and home, dont typically have great wifi service.

I missed out on the 10GB deal but I have no need for it either.

The Asus AC66U was more then enough coverage in the old place, but the new place it couldn't reach out into the detached garage or into the yard, even some of the rooms it was pretty weak. Replaced with a 3 pack Google wifi modules and now I have signal out into the alley let alone the garage. Great wifi signal in the office. But I'm thinking I'll end up upgrading the in-laws wifi setup, spend enough time there and the signal is pretty weak.

Otherwise data is really only when I'm out and about and well things like syncing e-mail only every 30 minutes helps reduce how frequently my phone goes off etc.

My plan is 500mb, and I maybe use half if that. $30/month plan. I could get much more data for a little more, but I will still be paying more to use the same amount of data. I'm old Lol, don't stream or social media. Closest I get to social media is texting.

I used to regularly go over my 6GB limit but I was playing HD videos on facebook and youtube'ing music into my car via bluetooth. Ever since, I've downloaded all the music I listen to on my car's HDD and connect to wifi at work. So, I rarely hit over 2GB these days.

I have 15GB between two phones, always close or go over. But I use my phone a lot to do estimates, etc for work so always opening plans, and I have my emails sync immediately as I want to know the second I have one. Only play music through iTunes so not much data there, it adds up fast thought. My IPhone 7 wonít last the day a lot of the time, even if I donít play much music. The plan is cheap anyway, no sense having less data to barely save anything. Phone bill is only $140 and both have unlimited Canada calling.

i was fine with 6 for the longest time, but somehow without changing my habits really i was somehow going over so i switched it to 9GBs, and then when i was up north doing a shutdown i ws using my phone data to do my online orientation, i went over my data and got them to up it to 12GBs so i can finish, i then later found out i could have finished it in camp (FUCK). then when i got my new iphone 8 i was given a 15GB plan for a few dollars more so i said fuck it and took it. but then i saw the deal for 10GBs, and with my job il be starting next year il be on a 14-7 shift, im sure i can make it work, especially since i nearly cut my bill in half
