    It is very rare a dealership will lose money on a vehicle. When they charge you $1-1500 for the undercoating, it literally costs them $75 in material and an hour of labour for their lackey to do it. They most definitely do well.

    I personally wouldn't pay more than $35,000 for a half-ton. (Okay, like 15 years ago, I paid $43,000 for a fully loaded RAM)

    the ford website says f150s start at $30k

    for fun i optioned one out and it was about $86k i think

    Not really, maybe base model with a v6.. I am sure most middle of the line half ton trucks are in 45k range (Ram Sport, Sierra SLE/SLT, F150 XLT/Lariat).. 67k for a fully optioned truck sounds about right.

    Not saying that I would pay that kind of money for a half ton but it makes sense. Denali Sierras are priced about the same too.
