$67,000 is not a good deal for a half-ton, EVER. Period.

I personally wouldn't pay more than $35,000 for a half-ton. (Okay, like 15 years ago, I paid $43,000 for a fully loaded RAM)

Not really, maybe base model with a v6.. I am sure most middle of the line half ton trucks are in 45k range (Ram Sport, Sierra SLE/SLT, F150 XLT/Lariat).. 67k for a fully optioned truck sounds about right.

Not saying that I would pay that kind of money for a half ton but it makes sense. Denali Sierras are priced about the same too.

I’ve never bought a vehicle from a dealer where they didn’t claim to be loosing money. It’s all BS. I’ve been shown invoice everything, it’s not ever the true number. You can get a fairly nice ram 1500 with decent options for $40k, especially if it’s a 17. Considering a 3500 Laramie diesel, and it will be barely over 60.

I’ve had recent dealings with a small dealer outside city and they’ve been fantastic. None of the BS or lying. I also bet if I do buy they won’t try the whole loosing money, they will be upfront and admit they are making money.
