I am looking for a good semi-gloss / matte / satin black |I can paint this truck with. I had intended on using SEM's hod rod black, however they only come in pint sizes and would cost over $700 just for paint. My budget was more or less 200-450. Anyone have any suggestions nefore I go with tremclad
It sounds ghetto but it actually turns out decent, go to Martin Farm and get some john deere blitz black...comes in gallons and it's cheap and sprays easy. Google it.

They have their own brand reducer...I believe it's made by valspar. Or just see what the guys on Hamb are using...probably xylene or mineral spirits knowing them lol

Spent the weekend wet sanding primer and getting a good chunk of this thing painted.

Got the cutouts installed and wired, interior lighting circuits complete as well. Started with carpet tonight... seats and such to follow. Might make my deadline after all...
