    Default Outdoor Fireplaces

Spring is practically here. Maybe folks should show off their outdoor fireplaces!
    Post em up!

On the subject of chimineas, etc... I've got a cast iron one that's really showing its age and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to revitalize it.
It looks a lot like this one I spotted on Kijiji:

Mine used to have a nice bronze appearance to it but now it's all rusty and carboned-up like in that picture. If I took a wire wheel to it, do you think it would come back to the bronze finish?
Also, has anyone heard of an extremely high-temp clear coat? I know BBQ paint would work, but it's always black. I'd like to bring its nicer finish back and then protect it so it'll last a little longer.

    Thanks for your help!

    Looked into it a bit.
    Gonna try this:

And then either leave it and let it slowly rust again, or, hit it with some Krylon Copper or (if I can find it) Thurmalox* 293.

    Update.
Just leaving it alone after sanding doesn't work very well.
    Le disappoint.

But the big difference between a right winger writing for a right wing media source, and left winger writing for a left wing source. Is that everything he wrote here is true and factual, not just somebodies opinion piece that is spinning vague facts to try and support their poorly thought out opinion.
