Minimal Studs in Garage Wall?
So, I was trying to hang some cabinets in my garage and noticed that I cannot find any studs 16" OC on the wall that attaches to the house.
Basically I can find one in the corner and maybe 2 other studs, that's it. I drilled multiple holes and just find insulation, whats the deal?
Now this is only on the wall that is attached the the house. Any ideas why?

How new is your house? Maybe they used those retarded, metal studs that don't have any material on them.

Built in 2011. I can find a couple studs just not in the right spots.

No. It seems like I can find 2 studs about 16" OC. Then none for 7 feet.

Cheapo home-done job, I guess... It's not likely load bearing, so it's not a safety issue, just inconvenient.

Someone bought me a stud finder but the batteries die in it so fast that I can never get it to work.
