Default F@#$ OFF ORANGE - Reno Thread

Purchased the house end of January.. not a very well taken care of property, needed a bit of tlc along with fugly orange trim and cupboards everywhere! Bleh!! But Perfect to go with my OCD and boredom.

In the first month we repainted the entire house in a very light grey Color, cleaned the living shit out if It, fixed taps, door handles, etc. Brought it back up to par.

Second month started ripping off all of the orange oak trim/baseboards and replacing with 2.5" trim and 3.5" header and baseboards.

LoL! That's not "orange"... It's stained oak, isn't it? I was picturing some Crayola orange nightmare.
    Looks good, nonetheless.

Next was the 2 bathrooms and ensuite cabinets. For this i used the rustoleum cabinet transformation. I've been PMd a lot about this product in the past, but now I've finally had a chance to use It, twice! First the bathroom pics.

Project costed $68 for all 3 cabinets.

After the snow melted, evidence of 3 dogs appeared. The sellers used the previous sale pictures on their mls listing. Fgrrrrrr.

Anywho, we dug out all the old grass, removed the composter And fire pit. Built a garden, threw down soil and seed and gave it lots of love. Like 50 bags removed kinda love lol. This is approx 3 months later.

    Master bedroom closet

Removed wire shelving, painted, changed light fixture. Added closet maid suite symphony closet kit with a bunch of extras. About $400 in total. And reused metal shelving in mud room, profit!

Railing and floor are the only things left in the house that are orange.

Railing is going white... one day.

Flooring, not sure if were refinishing or just ripping it out.

    TBC!
