Want to install the turbo on my B2200, along with trans and Nissan rear end, but going to school in Feb so can't spend much and I have it parked in backyard and not in garage.

Picked up a vortech for the Z. Installed majority of it already, trying to get majority of it done before it started getting cold out. That should make it a fun car to drive next year as I'm aiming for 430whp.

So gutted it all and will be rewriting everything with another nice Kenwood unit again over winter. Got all new bushings for everything since they're all dry and squeaking really bad. Gonna pick up a cheap press at PA for that job.

Other than that the car is perfect. I built it correct before I originally sold it, so nothing to do performance wise.
LOL. Are you Petarded? Apline is way better than Kenwood. But I'll stick chose Pioneer over both.

If you say so. Being a Samsung guy I thought you would be the type to nerd out over the Kenwood having better specs. But I guess the fact it is a far more user friendly unit reminds you of an Apple product too much, so you hate it? Lol.

Seriously though, all the units are fairly comparable spec wise nowadays. Kenwood wa s the only one offering a true 5v preout before. Mainly I just want something easy to use. And the pathetic 6 presets for radio is a joke on the Apline. For Sirius I want the full 12 that my Kenwood offers. And I already have one sitting in the closet. If I have to rewire the hack wiring job of the Alpine install somebody did, it only makes sense to put in a unit I like better. It's no extra work at all.

LOL. We both spelled alping wrong. Jesus.

And if you're already wired up for the Kenwood (more or less) AND have a spare collecting dust. That's a no brainer.

Honestly, all of the decks currently suck. I'd really like to wire up a car-PC. But I'm too lazy for that shit.

I'm currently working on doing a bi-xenon retrofit for the Integra using Morimoto Mini H1 v7 projectors and ebay headlights due to their clear lenses. So far I have one mounted up and it looks awesome but it's going to be on the back burner until I can move the car around next year. Should be a nice step up from halogens and fluted lenses.

Sambar needs a front axle boot replaced, Crown needs trans pan gasket and cam seals redone, Supra needs the ignition module rebuilt. life sucks

as for headunits ive got a regular Kenwood double DIN in my Crown and my Sambar has a flipout screen single DIN, never had any issues and i always go Kenwood. Alpine and Pioneer have too many headunits that have seizure inducing colours
