    Default Winter Plans...

So some of you (including myself) have parked our summer rides for hibernation.

Anyone else have modding plans for the winter?.

For myself, I am looking to get a Eurocharged handheld tuner with V7 tune, supposed to improve many aspects of the car, notably highway driving fuel economy going way up and transmission shifting.

Wheels are also in the cards but alot of that hinges on whether I can sell off the small collection of tires in my garage.

It was a strange set of events in the last 8 months.

I had a 2007 G35 with 20,221kms on it (Sad, I put so much time and effort into it, but I didn't love the car as much as I should've) Sold that, got a Hybrid Highlander.

Highlander gets 7.9L/100kms, my Sequoia got 19L/100kms WTF do I have this thing for? Sell the Sequoia.

I see this baby come up (It's a 2013 C63 AMG with the P30 performance Package, 18000kms on it probably has 21000 now) Everything I was looking for. Almost the same price I sold the Sequoia for. I beg, plead <censored>. Amazingly, my wife agreed.

The rest is history. I haven't had it that long, maybe a small part of summer, but Pure Executive Auto helped me bring it in.

    Work done so far:
    Secondary cat delete
    Blackout side markers
    Window Tinted
    Window deflectors
    Expel Matte wrapped

Now, what are your winter mods?

The SRT is parked. It has a bad parasitic draw. So I have that to troubleshoot. One of the owners after I sold it the first time, tore out my nice Kenwood DVD unit and installed some pile of shit Alpine. I removed it to see if there was some bad wiring causing my draw, they destroyed my beautiful wiring job and spliced into the stock harness. So gutted it all and will be rewriting everything with another nice Kenwood unit again over winter. Got all new bushings for everything since they're all dry and squeaking really bad. Gonna pick up a cheap press at PA for that job.

Other than that the car is perfect. I built it correct before I originally sold it, so nothing to do performance wise.

Tires, brakes and changing all the fluids on the GTR. Not a bad way to spend $8000 on “regular” maintenance.

Gotta turn the key on the LS swap and see if it starts. Pretty much at that point. Would like to have it out on track some time next season.
