Fuck i never even thought about this. I've always tipped at those places. After this enlightenment.. never again.
But the big difference between a right winger writing for a right wing media source, and left winger writing for a left wing source. Is that everything he wrote here is true and factual, not just somebodies opinion piece that is spinning vague facts to try and support their poorly thought out opinion.

Well, now let's be certain we're only talking about RMT's. Many massage personnel at salons etc are not RMT's and they make fuck all and should be tipped. I was shocked to find Chateau Lake Louise didn't have an RMT (maybe years ago)! I was pissed because it was expensive as shit and now I couldn't claim it on my insurance, plus, now I need to tip the poor girl.

*I tip RMT's, too but it's because I'm a Faggot. I just feel better complaining about it, after in hopes that the earth will realize how silly it is.

    Yeah, but that will change.

Every time min wage goes up; other wages will follow. So basically, everyone will end up in the same situation (costs to wages) except in higher tax brackets with fewer benefits. All a 'sudden' jump does is buy voters who aren't economically-minded.

Not true. The people who are getting fucked right now are the people only slightly above minimum wage. Everything is going to increase, yet most of them won’t see a raise and they will be worse off then before.

    Edit: Just looked it up.

1998-2004: $5.50/hour (when I entered the working class)
    2005-2006: $7/hour
    2007-2010: $8/hour
    2011-2014: $9/hour

Then, the new government came in, and they said by 2018, it would be increased to $15/hour.

So it's gone up like $1.50-$2 per year for the past 3 years in a row.
Fuck me I wish I got roughly 15-20% raises every year.

My mom works in a department store in a small town, has been working there over 10 years, at one time she was $4 above minimum wage, now she is in a near manager position, and making just under $15/hr. Once the minimum wage goes to $15, I bet she will make the same as the part time new hire high school kids.

    Yup. It's all bullshit.

I know my wages haven't increased 50% in the past 4 years. I fucking wish.

But let's pander EVEN MORE to this newest and shittiest generation. Where they get rewarded for complaining instead of hard work.
