    Default 2019 Kia Sorento ???

Thinking about picking up a new family vehicle. Thinking of a 2019 Kia Sorento, but not sure if that's the best bang for your buck...etc.

I need a six or seven seater, six is preferred as it makes the third row more accessible.

Also want it to be able to tow around 5000 lbs.

What else should I be looking at that's comparable to the Sorento in features and price?

Ford Explorer on a lease back may be an excellent option, seems like a lot of the similar SUVs to the Sorento have towing capacity of 3500lbs

Yeah, the Sorento with the V6 and AWD can tow 5000lbs. Most are less than that.

The Explorer is also close to $20K more for comparable features.

Because it is still built like a truck so it has a price tag like a truck, unlike what seems to be the majority of SUV/CUV options being but with uni-bodies etc.

You could get a 1-year-old low mileage with-warranty 5.7L Durango... That'll tow 7000lbs, has 6-7 seats, and DOESN'T have a Kia badge. lol

How is it built like a truck? Its not body on frame, and has 4 wheel independent suspension, I guess its primarily rear wheel drive.

The Explorer? No... The new ones are predominantly FWD.
