I've noticed, recently, that when purchasing LG SATA DVD Burners... There is an embedded burning program within the Firmware on the optical drive itself... And when you plug the DVD drive into the PC, Windows automatically loads this burning software.

That's pretty fucking badass if you ask me.

I haven't even tried the software yet...

I don't know how good it is, or isn't, however small programs like IMG Burn seem to work amazingly well...

I'm just remarking on the "cool" factor of not needing to include a disk with your product, because it has embedded software, kind of neat...
