has anybody used it?? or is this clever snake oil marketed to the frosty regions- i seen it in the JB's flyer this morning and since i have such a short commute in the mornings something like this would be cool if it worked.
http://www.gohtsn.com/article_315.shtml Design Engineering, Inc’s unique new product, Heater Hotter™, is a performance radiator additive specially formulated to rapidly absorb heat from the engine and transfer it to the cooling system without raising engine temperatures. Accelerating the transfer of heat means 50% faster warm up to help an engine reach normal operating temperature. This insures hot air is available for interior heat on command, even in sub-zero temperatures. A welcome thought for those in cold weather regions. |

A friend of mine tossed it into one of his beaters, and it worked pretty good!
I believe the car ran ALOT hotter then it should have though.

I can't speak from experience, but from the way it is described it doesn't seem like it should work. How can it take heat from one piece of metal & unevenly transfer it to another, it just doesn't seem even remotely possible to me.
