Default For the owners/manager of UC
So, I had a chance to talk with Greg, the manager of UC last night.

He politely asked that we dont show up before 9:00pm, because they still have customers in the store, and doesn't want the lot packed full... Which is understandable, and I told him that this was just because it was the first meet of the year.

He was understanding, and was really nice about the whole situation. I told him that we appreciate them letting us use their parking lot after hours.


I was thinking of maybe doing something nice for the owner, and manager of UC. Possibly a card, a few gift certificates for dinner? movies? or something along those lines. We could take donations, particularity from the regulars, and organize something to say thanks. So we stay in their good books. Nothing crazy, like 20bucks a person or something.

The last thing we want is to get kicked out, like we did Tim hortons.



Anyone have any other ideas?

I'm down for what ever man.

Maybe get everyone to pitch and put on a BBQ for united cycle and have use supply our time and the food?

Actually thats a good idea IMO, have a BBQ for the owners/staff of UC.

I'd pitch in. It'll be way cheaper than the ticket I could have gotten.

I backed into the handicap stall and didn't even notice that the store was still open until afterwards.

i could probably arrange something (as in a time to do this and anything else we would need) with Wilf Brooks as he is my neighbor...

i would be in for sure tho, maybe even get them a plaque made that says thank you
