I recently got rid of my cat, straight piped my exhaust, but put a resonator back on because it was too damned loud...oh and got a new muffler with a bigger rice cooker on the back than the stock one. but man...it vibrates so goddamned much now, that there's little squeaky noises ALLL THE FRIGGIN' TIME NOW!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

advice anyone?

what do you mea squeaking noises? if you're getting rattling it's probably hitting a heat shield, remove them wherever it's hitting.

Sounds like the exhaust is contacting the underbody, work should be under warranty, take it back and get it fixed if you got it done at a reputable shop.

When you take of the cat and install a straight pipe, interior rattle, drone and resonance is expected. Figure how I know :P . What kinda muffler are you using anyway, those straight thru ones? The one Wilson is using actually sounds pretty good without resonance.

Not when the coverter has been replaced by a resonator of ample quality.

The rattle/squeek might be something unrelated and coincidental.

ya i replaced my cat with a 22" magnaflow staright through resonator, there's no rattling, except at 2000-2200rpm some heatshield rattles pretty loud. I still haven't gotten around to figuring out exactly which one i need to remove.
