| I'm living in edmonton but my crx is in calgary without an engine. I'm going down there for the long weekend and plan on finding an engine. Just curious if anyone knows of any good shops or auto yards that may have a B18A or B at a decent price. thanks |

| Well its not like you can just drop it in man.. putting a b18a or b into a crx is some serious work.. even if you can find a engine. and your going to need a engine, transmission, axles, ecu, shift linkage, ect. ect. ect.. |

I already have the mounts, ecu, shift linkage, axless ..., and it's actually not that serious of work. I've already dropped one in that i pulled from a junker up in GP but I found out the hard way that the pistons are seized. They sold it for $300 as is cause it had been sitting awhile, but it only had 30k on it so i took the chance. Now piston work would be a serious job that i don't have time for and probably easier to just pick up another one that is proven to run and drop it in. All i need is the engine, as the tranny is fine. I also have 2 working heads as i thought the problem was there first and bought a second one. Pretty easy to find with all the lsvtec swaps now. The 11sec one would be awesome but unfortunetely i'm going to university and as you can imagine funds aren't the highest they've ever been. Maybe throw me a price for fun who knows, but i was hoping for the under a grand range. I found one for $150 in toronto but would kill me to ship. Any help is much appreciated. Even one in edmonton wouldn't be too bad, just gotta find a way to get it down there.
