How can a SUV be a minivan? so that makes your 86 a station wagon, because it has a hatch for a trunk... right?
Its a Blue Blazer 4door. I've seen it out in action allready. It was in the montana's parking lot, parked sideways, catching people on sherwood drive. f@cking pigs will park anywhere to give people tickets.
and I saw the minivan still out today, was in mills haven.
Seems like one of the favorite spots for photo is on Wye Road in between RR232 and 231, going westbound. The van parks right across from the entrance to the estates of sherwood park, its almost 100% hidden.
f@cking cash cows  |

| the only differance between a SUV and a minivan is that SUVs are bigger, and get a lot worse gas mileage.. and sometimes come in manual tranny.. and sometimes come with 4x4 |

rrrrright... no. The main difference between a SUV and minivan is the sliding rear doors. another difference is that on *most minivans, the second AND third row of seats are removable or reconfigurable... in most SUV's the 3rd row seating is removable, but very rarely is the second row removable or reconfigurable.
minivan = rear doors are sliding doors
car based Suv - based on car like unibody, 2wd or 4wd, small, small engines
truck based = more truck like chassis, bigger engines, BIG in general
xover vehicle = can be based on car, but be taller than normal, and offer features that arent avail on basic cars. example buick randesvous, aztec, pacifica. |

compair the ground clearance of a SUV and minivan.. the fact they are based on a truck platform does not make them any more or less useless.
how many SUVs do you think actually go offroad ?
Oh and if you actually compair the minivans.. they likley have more storage space so that would mean they are a better choice in almost anyway compaired to a SUV.. |

Holy Moses! Stop argueing theres nothing to argue about, its an SUV! End of story, you can compare them all day, and in the end its still an SUV.
So the moral of my story is, When your at the light in your Winstar, And I pull up in my Escalade. Im still cooler. B)

american suv's are based off trucks.. crossover vehicles are based off large cars, and since japanese automakers havent made many trucks in the past nearly all of their SUV's are based off minivans and cars
for eg:
Plymouth voyager = dodge k car
Chevy Blazer = S10
Acura MDX = based off the accord i believe (originally)
Pontiac aztek = unique

| man all im sayin is minivans and SUV's are 2 totaly different types of vehicles. thats why the ones with sliding doors are catagorized as minivans, and the ones with no sliding doors are SUV's. |

LMAO I was calling SUV's minivans because 99% of them never see off road duty. They are minivans for people that don't want to admit that they're driving minivans.

That just sounded like you were referring blazers as another type of minivan. But I understand what you mean. :)
And for everyone else! No matter what your opinions are on SUV's and what you think of people who drive them, they are 2 totally different types of vehicles!
That was my only point.
I agree that most SUV's dont see any offroading, and there are alot of people who dont really need one. Same as old ladys driving fast cars like mustangs etc.
But maybe thats not what people buy them for, If you want a large passenger capacity, and 4wd, SUV is a good choice. If you want a tow pig, but want to be able to carry passengers etc, instead of a truck, then an SUV is also a good choice. Some peoples needs are different than your own, think about it! Haha.
Ok, No more argueing about this dumb topic. :P
