Air Fuel Meter Install - Click HERE for Original Thread

Nis240
I finally got my dual Guage pillar pod (the other will probably be empty till the car spools) and am considering buying a air/fuel meter but i havent seen any advice on how to install one on a 240. I know you have to hook it up to your o2 sensor wires and it have to be in a certaian spot. o if any of you know how or know of any websites.

all gauges come with fairly simple installation instructions. You can always take it to Steve at 111av Midas, he'll do it for you.

Remember that your stock o2 sensor (or even the one that comes with the gaugem if there's one) is designed for fuel economy and low emissions, not for performance so don't try to tune your car with that gauge.

There is a wire off the ECU that gets the signal. Just check the manual at Ericksen. Look in the EF-EC section.

Well see what kind of instructions come with the gauge or else ill have to go to ericksen.

what kinda brand are you getting? if its autometer that will be easy to install. greddy, Hks, etc... will be a bit tricky but they are good on accurate readings.

Hmmm... You can't get accurate readings from your stock o2 sensor. Stock o2 sensors will only tell you if you are at 14.7:1, richer than that or leaner than that.

thats what i was saying, autometer A/F in general only comes with 2 wires, they only get reading from ECU, not like other Greddy, HKS, they have everything work seperate with the ECU.
