Does reversing the direction of the subwoofer have an advantage or something? Here is a pic if you don't know what I mean below. Is it the same as a "normally" mounted sub or do you get better performance with the magnet facing up?
Thanks all.

| People usually do it for show, or to get more volume from their box (sub won't be displacing volume inside the box). All you have to do is wire it the opposite from the way you would normally wire it. |

I was just gunna mention that... but wasnt sure.. I guess you'd be loosing the dust caps surface area..
Plus, its a pain in the ass to clean shit out of there (dirt and such), you loose even more trunk space.. Its good for showing you have large magnets.. woopie!
turn your speakers the right way, and get some cool speaker grills, like the ones that audiobahn or rockford offer :)

| ok, well this has a lot to do on yoru car. Cars will respond differently wiht different setups. I know for a GA, its the best if you have the subs facing the back of your trunk and with you able to see the cone, not the magnet of the subs. it depends on what you want and what car you have. |
