Which Gym do you go to? - Click HERE for Original Thread

brandon
Im thinking of joining clubfit, only because its cheap.

The only problem is that you can cut the attitude with a knife.  I checked it out and there's so many retards there who think they're Arnold.

Any other good gyms? what do you think of the Y?

CYA
gold's gym has a good atmosphere.  people are friendly there.  and the equipment is good.  hammer strength and icarian as the main lines.  it's cheaper than the y and club fit too.  but if you live far from there then that might not be a good choice.  it's near dante's.

I recently joined Coast Terrace, older Equipment, but no initiation fee.  Only $30 if you're a student.  There a swimming pool also.

..out of topic but if i wanted to buy a BowFlex...wat should i expect to pay? it looks good but is there nething bad about it?

schlong8
UofA Fitness centre.  $20 something for students over the summer per term. That's $40 for the whole summer.
Equipement is okay, but it can get really crowded at times.

Gold's can kiss my ass.

I'm at WHC now. Good all around gym. Dumbbells could go a bit higher though

Same here about Golds.  There's more guys posing in front of the mirror than guys working out.

My issue was with equipment and management. Was really worried about the "posers". I didn't look  <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://asianet.ca/images/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

I goto sports connection on 124st and stoney

it's older and small, but rarely ever busy. it's actually more of an aerobics place that happens to have weights. never, and i do mean never have to wait for equipment.

quiet, small, people are friendly. only like one huge guy who i've talked to lots

Markis
I joined Coast Terrace for the same reasons - quiet and reasonably priced. Plus it has a swimming pool. Too bad it's nearly 100blocks away from where I live!

Oh well it gives me a reason to visit the South.

REFLUX
im @ WHC now, no complaints so far

but i'm worried that it's gonna get busy FAST

PunkA$$
hey reflex,

which WHC? my boss goes to the one on the south side and he says it can get really busy. alot of juice monkeys but alot of strippers, er i mean exotic dancers, go there too. i think that's the main reason he joined

REFLUX
Punkass:
