I have a '91 LE i beleive. Can't remember if its an LE or an SE, whichever the top model was at the time, so I think LE. ANyhow, it has pretty much everything. Power windows, locks, and mirrors. Sunroof, A/C, Cruise, and HICAS (all wheel steering). I think thats it. It also has leather seats, or at least what appear to be. I'm not sure if Nissan actually put leather in there or if it is "pleather" plastic leather. No idea.

If you gonna get a 240 definently try and get one that is 91 or newer (91's were the fastest out of all the usdm 240sbecause of the cams) because of the fact that it will at least have the DOHC motor. For the trim try to get the SE because that is the full load model, comes with all the power accesories ,sunroof , abs, sometimes leather and if your lucky lsd. The Le models usually just came the standard power options such a power window, locks, and some had sunroofs and no leather, or lsd. |

| sweet thanks for the help guys! so now i know this probably wont happen for me in the near future, but what would an sr20 swap cost with labor and all? i just want a ballpark estimate. if thats too expensive, would it be worth it to turbo the stock ka engine? im assuming you would have to build that up to take the boost |

Answer these questions first;
1 which engine do you have in mind s13, s14, s15
2 are you getting a clip or motorset
3 are you keeping the stock sidemount intercooler or going front mount
4 do you have big enough exaust (3 inch is the standard for turbo)
These are just a couple of questions that you need to answer before een thinking of a sr swap, or just go and talk to Neil at Als auto and he will give you a rough estimate. But ballpark for a profesional install should be 7-12 grand depending on lot of things that can happen. |

| hahaha ya its all a dream rite now, i was just curious. ill keep those things in mind tho if it ever comes to it. but what bout doin up the ka wif a turbo, judging from the cost of the swap i guess this method would be slightly more economical. |

That also depends on the aftermarket stuff you put on.
BASICS:
Front clip: approx. $4000
Install: approx. $2000 (for a basic install, remember you pay for what you get, so forget about Autodreams)
Misc parts needed: Clutch ($400 - 700), flywheel machined ($50), gaskets, hoses, fluids etc etc etc.
You get the idea. The aftemarket shit like FMIC (1000), BOV (200 - 300), Boost Controllers (100 - 600), exhaust (200 - 1100), intake (100).
Adds up REAL fast, and there is ALWAYS an extra $2000 worth of things that go wrong somewhere along the lines. Things just seem to "pop" up. |

You got it backwards. LE's are the loaded ones and SE depend ofn the options the owner opted for. They could get pretty loaded, but LE is top model. Aaron you and I "had" the same car. 91 Red 240 LE (Hicas and all). Just clarifying. Besides you'll know when you sit in a top-o-the-line model because there are more buttons & toys. But, SE would probably be a little lighter.
Enough babble. Just Clarifying.

Maybe its different for the hatchback but for the coupes the se is the top of the line model, because my 93 coupe se has every single option that you could get excluding hicas because it wasnt available and my friend has a coupe le and hes has everything i got except for the HUD. |

| Sorry, not gonna read it all... but the only thing I really suggest when looking for a new local car that is available to drive.... is to drive it! :) That will tell you whether you like it or not and should or should not buy it:) |
