explain your name - Click HERE for Original Thread

superpirate25
This is always fun to do. Explain what your username is supposed to mean or why you chose it. I guess I'll start. I was registering for msn and wanted some kind of pirate name, it was the first thing to come to mind.

ps - my hidden agenda behind starting this topic is because I want to know what the hell that scream/cparq.....something or other guys name is all about. haha

-]TooL[-
TooL has been my nick for like 10 years now for almost anything i need one for, and my bro threw on the -][- on either side when we got into quake1 tf a long time ago. Superpirate why the 25? age?

MightyMidget
edit...see post on third page

MM

Flex
In the early 90's when I started competing in bodybuilding my friends started teasing me and calling me Flex......it kinda stuck. so I started using it on the computer.

high school
im the youngest in my club, so drifted came up with high school, cuz im still in high school, so that one stuck to me, and thats what they all call me now, so what the hell...

Magnum
Magnum, well because its verry close to my last name and everyone at work calls me that anyways...

that and my mom almost changed my last name to magnum when they got divorced, like 7yrs ago...

well, and it just sounds hardcore.... ------

REFLUX
mine isn't as original as everyone else's (cept for Steve :P):

Reflux is/was an animated comic book that was sold on CDs.
I needed a login for mIRC and chose Reflux since I just finished the CD.

Reflux became $up3|2 l337.....r3f|ux (name needed some spunk)

But of course time passed and h@x0rz r3f|ux didn't cut it so.... => REFLUX.

Taadaah, the life story of my computer nerdage B)

I wanna know how RedBaron303 came up with his nick....

sCream/cparkq
sCream is the username i use for most things, and its my username on the b15senta, vboard, and other nissan boards, so i figured id leave it there.
cparkq is my name Charles Park.. dont ask what the q is for.

JDC™
J D and C are my initials, and I was having fun with the alt functions to come up with the trademark sign

gillAteen
My last name is Gill and one time when i shaved my head,i looked like a real tough mofo, so my buddy at work said 'whoally sh#$!i'm calling you gillateen(like guilateen to chop heads off),you look like you need a wrestler type name!

WookeysRX7
Well, my last name is Wookey and i drive an RX7 so there you have it. NIce and simple.

WeDgE
No idea where mine came from, I've just used it since I started using the internet.

rexxrally
I live for off-road rallying, and my last rally car was an RX7. We named the car Rexx, because, well, RX7, RX = Rexx. So the team name was Rexx Rally.

Rexx was destroyed in a 100 kmph head on collision with a tree in a rally in 1999. I've just bought Rexx II from Conroy (4Kruzn). It should see it's first rally this coming March in Cochrane.

Mekanik22
Mine is alittle obvious. I'm a first year Automotive Mechanic and my favorite number is 22. I added the "K"s jus because I dunno, I just did.

Spike7ss
MIne is from the movie land before time, because im lazy, and it sounds coo, Spike

7 is my hockey number

SS was a truck i almost had, 90 454ss

that is all

;)

GirlRacer P1
Mine is pretty simple actually. GirlRacer, because I used to enjoy racing, and P1 as in the Subaru Impreza P1, my dream car. The other one I use all the time is RacerGirl, which is basically self explanitory, meaning the same thing as girlracer.

I knew that would come up before I clicked on the post... haha :0

I'm not really sure, I've been using it since I started surfin the net and sining up on forums, for whatever reason.

Punkass asked me about it once, and he came up w/ a nifty meaning for the numbers.... Redbaron was a famous german fighter pilot, but I didn't choose the name for having any association w/ history>!

It's odd to think back when asked why that name and you can't remember?!

ChromeDragon
Well my name is a bit of a doozie. It started out as just Dragon back in 'Nam in '68. Eventually I worked my way up in the sniper ranks taking down Charlie, or Sam, all depended on who was paying me the best at the time. Eventually the name was shortened to Drago, (and for about 2 weeks it was Dragboy after an unfortunate night of drinking and then raiding of a dress shop in Saigon). I carried a knife with me at all times, just for when things got too close to use the rifle. It had a highly polished chrome finish on it, great for reflecting light into the eyes of the enemy right before you attack and disembowel them. One night in Danang I was relaxing after finishing off a few officers from each side and my buddy Splintzy made a comment about me being a Cold Chrome Dragon. Eventually the cold was dropped, but the Chrome Dragon has stuck ever since.

Haha, nice try dude!! A little bird from Visions told me the story behind that!!

VerbotenZ34
Verboten is the name of my car. It's a Teutonic word meaning 'forbidden' or such associated imagery.
I had a cool, esotheric name for my first car (GTS Viper Blue 89 Daytona = 'Megarea'), so I thought long and hard for one for the Z34.
I thought it looked really badass, all black body panels, windows and two bright shiny exhaust tips, so Verboten just kinda hit me.

Verboten ;)

Superpirate why the 25? age?

Haha, no I'm not that old yet. I tried using superpirate but it was already taken and the first suggestion it gave me was with the 25 on the end. I could have left it out on here but I like to keep it the same everywhere so I don't start forgetting what my login is.

Anonymoose
Anonymous + Moose = Anonymoose.

I used it for Counter-Stike and it stuck.

MOP_zero
MOP= Maximum Onroad Performance.
Or Offroad...
err something

All came out of a Computer Game I used to play alot. This game had a fairly large community, and prospered because of the ability to build vehicles and tracks for the game. I enjoyed making both. Well, after I gained some experience with this game I became ambitious and desired to make my own vehicle.

This game had an annoucer that commented on the action taking place.
He would say the name of the vehicle. I searched through the sound files to find "Zero" (presumable the announcer stating a time.)

The MOP stuck because the name "Zero" is far to common to use.

Before this Handle I used Dark Knight.
Before that I used Talon.

I Believe there might have been one other. but this is getting on 8yrs ago now.

1mns13
one mean
s13= chassis code for my car.
