Evenflo company - Click HERE for Original Thread

This is mainly for the parents on the board, but I wanted to express how great Evenflo's customer service is.
I had recieved a travel system as a gift for when I had Dylan, and so far there have been a couple problems. The first one was a wheel had gotten a little warped, so I contacted Evenflo and asked where I can purchase replacement parts. They had e-mailed me back, and offered to send me a set of brand new wheels, which I recieved a few weeks later. I was very impressed with their service then, but yesterday I found that the reclinable seat on my stroller had broke somehow (I do not know what happened) so I was very upset, and once again contacted Evenflo. I had just recieved an e-mail from them asking for my home address so they can replace the stroller for me, once again, free of charge. I believe that you can tell a lot about a comapny by how they react when there is a problem, and this company reacts fast and is more concerned about parents than their bottom line.

They make all kinda of baby and child products. I will definatly be buying the next car seat from them, when Dylan grows out of his infant one. :)

I just recieved this in the e-mail:

"Thank you for your inquiry regarding your Evenflo stroller.

I appreciate the positive feedback and I am also pleased to hear you are
satisfied with our customer service. Your stroller is on order and will
arrive by UPS delivery within the following 3-4 weeks.

Thank you for contacting Evenflo ParentLink. I appreciate the time you took
to email us."

Gerber is really good, too. We used to feed their baby food to our kids.

There was one time that I was using a spoon to scrape out the bottom of a glass baby food jar into a plastic serving dish. I hit the bottom of the glass jar, and a chunk of glass inside broke off.

I contacted Gerber about it. They were really apologetic that this happened to me. I got a call from the Vice President of Canadian Operations, who apologized profusely. I received 3 months worth of baby food out of it.

They asked if I could send them the jar for testing purposes so that it wouldn't happen again. At first I thought, "uh-huh, they just want to cover up the evidence". But, they were so good about it, and I got a bunch of free product, so I sent it in.

They sent me a letter about 3 months later, detailing all the testing and examination procedures they did on the jar, and the tracing back of the raw materials used in the making of that particular jar (they've all got unique serial numbers). They also changed their manufacturing process so that it wouldn't happen again.

I was quite impressed. It was the only time I had a problem with Gerber food, and it made me quite confident to continue using their products.

It is nice when companies do something for the customer when their products goes boom, but it would be even nicer if their product didn't go boom in the first place :)

Im glad everything got fixed, but i thought you were talking about an upcoming rave haha

bomberman: I wish!!!!!!!!

Eric: I think I broke it somehow, but I haven't used the stroller in so long, I don't know what happened. maybe it was too cold out or something. Either way, it is great they are replacing it!
