| I woke up this morning to go to my exam, and i noticed my car was at an angle. Both tires facing the road were slashed, my front lower lip kicked in. My mom's car and our neighbors werre slashed too. The police said there were over 35 reported tire slashings last night in the west end. Kinda shitty, so if u see anyone shady near your car, get your bat out and save a hit for me! :kill: |

The westend seems to be notorious for mass vandalism. I remember just awhile back, 2 punks got tagged for breaking all those windshields down there. |

| I know, and to be truthful, you would not expect to have vandalism anywhere in Edmonton, especially in a quite neighborhood. I guess I really need to buy my alarm tommorow and hope that insurance wont go up with a vandalism claim. |

I live in the Wolf Willow area near Country Club. There were over 35 reported cases of vandalism.
I am getting 4 new toyo Proxes TPT 225/65/16's . Hope i have better luck with them.
On a similar note, can any one recomend a really good car alarm? haha |

I know that we all hate vandals and car thieves, and we'd like to beat them until their name goes on a stone 6 feet above their lifeless bodies, but the law can backfire on the car owner. Do you really want to go to jail on charges anywhere from assault to as bad as manslaughter? I know that would f@ck up my life and career. A punch or two to stop him is one thing, but beating him unconcious with a bat is another....
I'm not favouring criminals, I'm just saying that a decision like beating him to death could effect you for your entire life. |

Just a little update on the insurance:
My rates will not go up with this claim, and Millenium Insurance is buying me 2 new 16' Toyo Proxes IPT and paying to fix and repaint the bumper.
I am semi relieved now i need to park in the garage.
