| i was talking to a friend about this scenario, and we're divided on the reason. just wanna know what everyone else thinks. if you're in a relationship, and you're really happy and everything, but no one ever feels 100% perfectly fulfilled because no one is a PERFECT compliment, though ppl may come damn close...and...you meet someone who turns your head in that they may match you in a different way, what does that mean? Should you EVEN have turned that way to NOTICE the person if you're supposedly head over heels in love with the person you're with? Does it mean anything, like compatibility of your present relationship, or is it normal to be intrigued by different people because we're all just human? |

I think it is a little bit of both.... people are naturally always looking fopr better mates, it is part of our survival as a species. What we do with it that makes a diffrence.
Ususally it does not mean anything, but some people take it too far, and then there is a problem. |

if you're talkin about turning your head as in "checkin someone out"
then i dont see the big problem
like Crystal said, if it is excessive..then you have a problem
but once in a while, you see someone who catches your eye (or his eye) and they just "take notice" of them
it's not like they are being "mentally" infidelic (is that a word?)
2 things that will make "checking someone out" into a time bomb:
1) one checks people out too often
2) the other puts too much emphasis on this "head turning" |

I dunno.. i have always felt that if you are happy in your current relationship, sure u might be some head turning, but that is all it is.. just head turning nothing more. If you are happy in a relationship why would anyone even go "look" for a better mate? |

| i don't mean turn your head LITERALLY...i meant you meet a person, and this is the first time ever, but they really got your interest as a person...in other words you're more intrigued by this person than you normally are by new people you meet just because you click. i don't mean you're thinking about any new relationships or anything like that, but it just concerns you a bit. |

| well anyhow...had huge drama this week, big fight with the bf, but totally my fault. in the end, things worked out between my and the bf, decided not to be friends with this guy, and it's sad, because i really did enjoy hanging out with him, but not enough to hurt my bf. so it's all good now. |
