This sub forum proves to be one of the most popular on this board as "everyone wants to know"

It is good to see the level of participation in here, even fellow members answer questions to other members.

It has been over a year since the ideas of "Speak w/ Your Local Law Enforcement" forums began, and shortly thereafter, Jim started the "Speak w/ Your Local Law Enforcement" forum.

Constable Jim Flack is a member of the RCMP and contacted me December 02.02 after I had publically posted I wished to have (then) V8less (now) 780 Tuners be a medium for educating and awarness of the law and various highway traffic acts.

Jim has been directly involved in the RCMP Street Legal program.

Prior to joining the RCMP he obtained his inter-provincial mechanics licence and worked for a number of years in the trade.

There is still some animosity that stems from the fact that the laws are quite vague and there have been moments where Jim has called it quits.

But a BIG thanks for sticking with us and believing that a difference can be made.

This is a great forum and I hope to see it continue as positively as it has.

Thanks Jim for sticking it out and dealing with all the crap that goes on. You put yourself in the line of fire and to see the disrepect you get on this forum is amazing. Now imagine fellow RCMP reading this and I'm sure they have questioned your sanity at times. I would question your sanity as well, if this is the kind of crap you get on the streets, I can imagine the cynicism and skepticism that can infect the ranks. Once again thanks for hanging in there and I appreciate your taking on a mostly thankless task. :bthumbup:

Hi Folk;

Thanks for the posts. I have had the flu that's been going around so I haven't had a chance to respond to very much lately. I'm hoping by this weekend the flu will have run it's course (God knows it's not the only thing that's been running lately) & I'll be back to normal (at least as normal as before).

Until then ...

Jimbo:fingersx:
