The Western Canadian Prelude Meet
Date: Saturday July 17, 2004
Location: Race City, Calgary, Alberta, Canada
This will be a fun filled one day event, which is in conjunction with the V8less Sport Compact Challenge. Activities will include 1/4 mile drag racing, auto-x racing, a show & shine, spl sound off, drift demonstration and much much more.
This will be the first ever gathering of Honda Preludes from across four provinces. Depending on the turnout, this may infact become an annual event.

Race City on July 17th or BUST!!
I've never been to Race City before. Will it be the same kind of theme as SCC 2 where we all meet inside the venue? Or is it still in the planning stages.
I've checked out the other Prelude forums and the initial response has been ok. But we're a long ways off though.

I haven't been to Race City before either. I'll have to go down there and check things out for myself to get a feel for the layout.
There will be quite a few people entering the events (i.e. drag racing, auto-x, show & shine, etc.) so I don't know if we'll hold it inside the venue or out in the parking lot. Depends on how many cars and how many people enter the events.
I want to try and keep everyone together, especially for the photo shot I have planned.
Most likely, I'll be in Calgary all weekend and there will probably be stuff happening on the Friday as well, such as a possible cruise to Banff, group photo shot, and hittin the clubs. |

With the decrease in confirmed attendees for this event from both the WPC & VPC, this event has been officially "CANCELLED".
However, the EPC will still be representing at the V8less SCC at Race City (Calgary). So, if there are still people interested in making the trek from either the WPC or VPC, we will accomodate you and make your stay in Calgary an enjoyable one.
For those of you that are from Calgary, Edmonton and beyond, we can make this into one big Alberta Prelude Meet if the interest is still there...
