K, so I buy myself a mobile dvd player Ive wanted one for a while now, trying to find a descently priced one with inputs so I can play ps2 and stuff aswell. I bought a polariod product (didnt even know they made anything other than cameras) from best buy (shown above), and I know I probably should have done the homework before, but i have it now. The deck Im using doesnt have an aux function or a video input (didnt think about it before), so I think I have to replace that anyway. What do I need to look for to be able to play ps2 in my ride? I assume it would be a deck that supports an aux function.
See, the problem lies in my lack of knowledge in this particular area. I know you all need more info but Im not enirely sure what.
If you guys can help me out I would sincerely appreciate it. And its not an immediate need, gotta save funds again, Im just too anxious and cheap to buy it all at once! Thanks again in advance.

Do you mean a deck with rca or s-video input?
I found out at lunch that Im getting a descent deck that has 2 sets of rca inputs, he rambled the model but I forget. One of the ones with, swimming with dolphins and flying through buildings. I havent seen it yet but he's selling it for $100. I cant go wrong. Ill keep you guys updated if i get more parts or have more questions. My only internet access right now is at work so ill check up again on friday. Thanks again! |

whell you can go 2 ways about this to get audio in your car for this screen you can A: get a deck with AUX in or B: pick up a FM modulator and hook it up to what you have. The deck can run you anywhere from $280 and up depending on brand and features an FM modulator can run you from $50 and up.

K so I bought an FM modulator. There was nothing in the package regarding video. So i went up to, "puts on flame suit", radio shack and bought a couple of couplers. So now I am able to play playstation directly to mobile dvd player. All I need now is a power inverter, and the install.
Thank you very much for your help Ralphie, if we meet at a meet together, your more than welcome to check out my handy work. Thanks again.

| I know you figured it out already, but I thought I'd post what I did with my setup. I had a pioneer premiere CD player with only three sets of RCAs; front, rear, and sum. What i did when i hooked up my Concept DVD player which was under my seat was to use an adapter that i got at my local shop that used my CD changer controller that had one set of RCAs to go to my DVD player. It is kind of like the FM modulator thing. Works really slick, no need for couplers or anything |

Thanks for the reply anyway, Im always interested in something I dont know. Only catch to that setup is you have the CD changer Im lacking. I just needed another set of RCA's, any way I could get it to work is all I wanted. Its most likely not all getting installed for a while anyway, its all for the summer ride thats parked in an alley right now! |
