Well I thought this was one finely crafted thriller.
Not what you'd expect from John Woo, but it keeps you entertained.
No flashy ballet of bullets Woo is commonly known for, but what you end up with is good writing, pretty loathsome villains, and decent action.
I'm not going to give anything away, if I did, it would spoil the movie, but unfortunately, you do figure out what is going on a bit too early on in the movie, I think it would've played better had they held off on it until closer to the end.
All in all, a very entertaining chase movie. |
