Im just curious.. but what is a good... or recommended rest time between workouts on a particular muscle group?  I tend to rest a minimum of 3 days?  Im just wondering if longer or shorter would be best...

Recommended rest for each muscle group is 48hrs.
It MIGHT be needed to extend a rest period depending on a lot of different factors, but mostly due to not enough rest, thus u've been overworking your muscles for awhile.
