I'd just like to hear some feedback on these for a daily driver and maybe even the rare weekend event.

I had them mated to H and R race springs on a 93 lude. It was a very, very harsh ride. I think those springs were too aggressive for them.

This time around, I'm mating them with H and R sport springs. I've heard from many Prelude owners with the same setup, that the ride quality is excellent.

The adjustments are nice too. My application had 4 settings.

I think they're a good bang for your buck!!

Good luck.

I'm thinking about mating them with H&R OE Sport Springs, only a .25 inch drop too, I dont wanna shovel snow with my car in the winter.

I have them on my Talon... Can't complain, so far they have performed well. Big improvement over stock.

I have them on my suby. They've been to trackdays, autoX's, rallyX's and the occasional hill climb and have withstood them all. I have them for about 2.5 years now and no complaints.

Adjustment is good for the weekend racer. I usually have them set to full stiff on race days and about half on the street. Either way it is much improved (bumpier) over stock.

Question to ask urself is how much "comfort" are u willing to sacrifice?

littledan
my friend had them on his 1.6 el... was lowered about 1.5 to 2"... he blew two of them within a year and won't touch them anymore... i was going to put them on my lude but now i have second thoughts... tockiko (sp) and koni also make adjustable dampers so check those out before you make your final decision.

I have the KYBs on my car (88 CRX) with skunk2 coilovers and they are great!! no complaints!

When i got them, they had a lifetime warranty, so if they blew, u just sent them in and get a replacement. I think it's still the same but i'm not sure.

I dont want to sacrifice comfort:( but I've read some other reviews and some are saying that in the install manual it states you shouldn't lower it more than 1.5" because then the shocks won't perform as well as they're supposed to. Also I think some people may adjust them too stiff and then blow them on crappy roads like ours.

Any similar products or alternatives would also be appreciated. :)

You will always have to trade off on ride quality if you want a stiffer suspension and better handling.

Unless you spend some serious cheddar on some sort of magnetofluid shocks (ala 50th aniv corvette, caddilac srx).

I wouldnt mind the stiff ride if they actually made AGX's for my car...
