| So I'm planning to buy some wheels+tires from some dude in Conneticut. What is the cheapest way to get them shipped here? I tried UPS and they quoted me $210 US. Thats f#$#$@g rediculous... Basically there will be 4 packages at about 35 lbs each. Any help will be appreciated. |

Weird, I had 4 wheels shipped to me just this December with UPS ground.
37lbs/wheel & it was $115USD with insurance & everything.
I had a great experience with UPS...DO NOT ship without Insurance and a Tracking #.

| USPS (regular mail) is best if they will ship them. You avoid a lot of duties that you pay with the other courier services. Also, as other people noted, get them to mark the customs form as a gift. It will save you money as well. |

The reason your better off going with UPS, as i used to ship to the US alot, is becasue they get the package to the recipeint alot faster then most other companys. They have some deal with customs and your package doesnt get held up at the border for as long, and they are a trust worthy company to boot, they take care when handling a parcel. Be sure to get it insured and when you send anything with them they give you a tracking number, dont loose it.
It also doesnt hurt to label the packages as 'fragile' and ' do not drop'
