is there any special way to bleed a hydraulic clutch on a 92 civic? it grinds going into reverse and its hard to put it in every other gear, it seems like the clutch isn't fully disengaging. does anyone have a shop we could do a clutch job on, for a decent price?
thanks |

Well, I believe on a 92 civic its a cable clutch, so i dont think your able to bleed any hydro line on them, I can be wrong.
If not look on the tranny there would be a small release valve similar to that of a brake caliper the idea is the same you open up the line and pump, pump, pump untill the airs gone.
then top up your resevoir and walla.
If you want some one to do it for you for cheap pm me! |

Try pouring in that GM synchro mesh tranny fluid, i've heard Great review on it.
The sad part is you have to goto the GM dealership to get it :( |

the best way is to gravity bleed it.
It's hydro clutch, the bleed valve is on the slave cylinder.
Yea, if it's grinding like that maybe try swaping tranny fluid.
Good luck. |
