Turbo or Supercharger for an Auto - Click HERE for Original Thread

dropzone
I want some serious power for my prelude, but its an auto.

Can I turbocharge it or SC it?

Please no comments about driving an auto.

You want serious power eh? _One of the first things to consider is _just how much power you auto trans will handle. I say this mainly because, typically auto trannys take less power than the conventional manual type! _I'm not sure if there are any upgrades that can be done to a Honda tranny. _Both power adders are great, thought the supercharger might work better with this auto.

A JRSC would still be the best for this application. It'll give you power but not to much that you'll have to make any modifications to your drivetrain. Plus since you're using auto, the JRSC is virtually lag free so this is an advantage for street or circuit racing. After installation, have it tuned with a Hondata and be done with it.
