Jared, this is a T51R SPL BB version.It's a step up from the T51R KAI BB. I did some research on these turbos, and everything is identical; from the compressor housing, the turbine wheel, to the exhaust housing. The only difference is in the compressor wheel. Although they are both a 56 trim, the entrance diameter and outer diameter is where lies the difference.
Entrance diameter for T51R kai is : 70.3 (mm), outer diameter for T51R KAI is :94.0 (mm). Now for the T51R SPL BB, entrance diameter is :76.5 (mm), outer diameter is : 102.2 (mm).
