The support for Prelude ECU's arent' very strong, so you have to buy an OBD1 Civic/Integra (P28, P72/74/75, P30 etc) to properly use some of the software out there. Also you need a dyno to tune your own chips. Of course for the OBD2 cars you need an OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness.
Honestly though, unless you're extensively modifying your motor, the gains vs cost of dyno/tuning is not worth it. |

I've been told the P5P ecu's or the obd 2 prelude ecu's cant be chipped is this true?
I know the OBD1 ecus can be chipped. |

Any Honda ECU can be chipped (to a degree). It's just that there's no software for you to put on the chip to use :). |
