k i'm goin down calgary trail south
i stay beside this sunfire for like...3-5 minutes, jus side by side
and out of nowhere (after 5 minutes) he downshifts & sprays the NOS
of course i'm not expectin NOS, (jus thot he was downshiftin) so he's 1 car in front and i put it at 3/4 throttle
in about 3 seconds i pass him, 1.5 cars in front and i let off the gas...jus to see wat he's gonna do
and again i see (but not hear) him pass me & take the next exit
wat i'm curious to...is if that would b counted as a win or loss?
it's hard for me to tell cuz i dont know if he was NOS'ing the whole time...and seein as how i wasn't @ full throttle either.......
so wat do u ppl think? |

EDIT: what colour was the sunfire? was it black? some fag that lives by me with a black sunfire always talks up his car. nawssss.. or whatever. i hate people that talk up their cars. i'd like to line up with him.... haha. test out a few new mods.

There's this new guy (from italy) on the S2000 boards and he was wondering what 1/4 mile times were?! He thought there was a set track that was a 1/4 mile long that everyone goes on and posts up numbers...OLOLOL.....anyways, he thought we were all poor drivers because he says there is no skill involved in that <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://asianet.ca/images/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo--> which there really isnt, i guess? Then he talks about how on tight tracks he's seen plenty of times a punto beat Porsche twin turbo's.....its not the engine, its the driver...as he put it......Thats one of the reasons why i dont even race off the line anymore or drag race with another car. |

I'm pretty sure that primered CRX I was racing was NOS-ed, boy was he surprised when I pulled away and stayed away from him.
Little punk turned off after I embarresed him twice.
NOS is quick and dirty, but by no means will win you a race like that portrayed in F&F. You need skill. |

Sunfires/Cavs are ok in my book. As long as poeple dont go too psycho with the aftemarket parts (ie no chrome fenders).
On average I've seen way worse Civics. |

Like that NOS CRX that was totally driving like a prick on Castle Downs road three weeks ago, I was totally not doing ANTHING to provoke him and the bastard tailgates me, REALLY tailgates me, and just being a gereral prick.
Or even better, "My new coolmax hyper-drive air filter will net me 12 horsepower right?" well, actually no...

I totally agree with you guys. Unfortunately with cars such as Civics and J-body's, they are the bottom of the totem pole cars and most people that buy them don't have the money to mod them properly.
