I got there at 10am and by 2:30 I saw the imports run once.
Only thing intersting was the Supra running 12's. There couldn't have been more than 30 imports. What a waste of $10.
I spent more time looking at the airshow. |

And we got to see "The fastest civic in western Canada" do another spectacular 16.28...
Unfortunately, the imports are still far from being able to compete against the domestics. The only import under 13 was that supra, and he was from Calgary. All the performance shops in town that know what they are doing are almost exclusively muscle-car oriented.
And a couple of imports cars that looked like they could be fast were parked in the VIP area and didn't race.
It is slow to pick up, but I hope it eventually will. I'd say the imports were on average 1 sec. faster than last year.
Maybe 50$ is too much. Maybe they are intimidated by the crazy 8sec mustangs.

My beef is that it has gone up. $50 to run two or three times just isn't worth the beans in my case.

I took off at 5pm cause I was sick of sitting around.
Mitsuman qualified with a 12.6 I believe. The Poopra ripped a 12.21@123. I wish he would have run in elim's (with DR's)since the track got so much better win the afternoon sun. I think an 11 would have been attainable.
I'm assuming Mitsuman won the Outlaw. Was it $300 cash?
I'm also guessing that DSM4EVER's old Talon won Comp even though it should have been in Outlaw.
Anyone want to fill me in? |

Probably just froze.
Although the first thing that should be ingrained in your head when you're about to wipe is let off the gas. There's a slim chance the suspension will work itself out OR give you a crucial split second to regain your thoughts and try to counter the spin. |
