Pick up your lady at work in a limo(for those who don't know there are much extra bonus points to be made for those who make such displays of affection in front of your ladies coworkers) and get driven to a nice hotel, preferably with a nice suite(tub,etc.) and add whatever food and party favors you like.

overrated...imo....why do i need one day to blow more money
as is now i buy flowers once or twice a week take her out for supper or movies. but now on the one day i gotta do better than i have all year....and how come its always us guys having to spoil the ladies why not have them show us that we are appricated???
i have never had a woman show that i am appricated for all i do.

i have fun on valentine's day. it's not a bad thing...it's sorta like christmas, and yes it's sort of commercial...but who cares? isn't your sig other worth spending the extra time and money? i always do something for my sig other. it's not a one way thing. |

lets start wirth a nice walk through the schokter theater
**bring picnic basket** have a nice little time at the top follr where the little pool is with all the plants. see how that goes.
another idea is make her a nice meal at you house candles the whole nine yrds. Go to a Panda flowers(they have colored roses)get som unique roses(purple ,blue, something diffrent)(order ahead of time). rent an old classic movie like cassablanca, love story, same time next year, something old .let her know you appricate her.
what else can a guy do in this weather w/o spending a huge amount.........
suprise her by taking her out of edmonton, drive an hour to red deer and take her out for something diffrent. |

| umm... very common, but a classic. Dinner at a nice restaurant, go back to somebodys place, cuddle up on the couch. My GF loves that, mostly because she doesnt get to eat at nice places very often, and shes quite happy to cuddle up on a couch. |

| ^ a lot of those are good ideas. too bad a lot of them are outdoors things which in edmonton, or rather, most of canada, we can't even do during valentine's, unless you enjoy being in a huge bundle of clothing, barely able to see or walk. ehhehe. |
