its called better technology.....its about time the domestic companies started figuring that out!
hondas are imports cause its a japanese company. I think they started building certain models in north america in the 90's:confused: |

| yah, they have alot better technology over there. almost all their cars are built in north america now. i know for sure that the s2000 is still built in japan. |

probably cause GM and toyota are producing lots of shit together.
the Pontiac vibe has a toyota drive-train, and theres lots more.
its just like in the 90's when ford and mazda produced stuff together
(ford probe-mazda mx6, ford ranger-mazda b series truck) |

that is retarded, Honda is japenese. plain and simple. the engine and powertrain are still shipped over.
my integra and CRv were built in japan. they are LHD. so that should put your theory to rest.
toyota probably is using the cavalier to have something cheaper in there lineup. naturally over there Honda is domestic, chev is import. why they chose a cavalier is beyond me! talk about putting your reputation at risk. |

| my car was built in japan and it's left hand drive .. the only lexus built in the states is the RX300 and now the RX330. I'm not sure but I think that my echo is still built in japan and imported over here. |

Chrysler: Cirrus and Stratus (engine, automatic transmission, and AC failures)
Chrysler: Concorde, Intrepid, LHS, New Yorker, Vision (automatic transmission, brakes and AC failures; body leaks)
Daewoo: all models and years (coming out of bankruptcy; newly acquired by GM)
Ford: Focus, Taurus, Tempo, Topaz, Sable, Windstar (electrical glitches, engine, transmission, and brake failures)
GM Saturn: all models and years (engine failures, electrical glitches, and poor body fit and finish)
Hyundai: Excel, Pony, early Sonatas, Stellar (biodegradable bodies, serious engine, transmission, electrical, brake and fuel system failures)
Jaguar: all models and years (lots of cash for pseudo-cachet from Ford; mediocre quality and problematic servicing)

Lincoln: Continental front-drive (engine, transmission, AC and brake failures)
Mazda: MPV (pre-2002 model was a gutless runt)
Saab: (electrical failures, problematic servicing, and quirky).
VW: Rabbit and EuroVan (mediocre quality control an Problems getting parts and service; Camper is ideal for waiting for a tow from Hans or Helmut) |
