limecorrado
I Have a 1990 nissan 240sx and last night the heater decided it did'nt want to work anymore and blew 2 fuses.Has this ever happened to anyone else?

TylerH
You have no heat or you have no fans blowing you heat?

Nis240
Was your fan making lots of noise?

limecorrado
I am getting no heat and no noticable noise.I changed the 2 fuses last night and tried the heater again to no avail,(have'nt check to see if blew to new fuses or not)Nothing.2 days prior the heater Seamed to be very weak(i thought i was due to it being So cold).I did notice a smell after to heater stopped.

My 240 has never seamed to have a great heater,is that normal?Maybe the heater has been going for a while?the wierdest thing is my corrado's heater now does'nt work either.

Your engine has a 170F thermostat which usually means the air will not get very hot. As to your other problem, I've never experienced anything like it in my first 8 years of owning a 90 240sx.

Try hitting your blower motor when your in the car and have the heat turned on, that always got the one in my truck going just before it totally quit.

Mine Won't stop blowing fuses?I took a look at the fan(Squriel Cage)and It Looked Fine.I'm gonna try to take a look at the motor itself and go from their. If it's not that i get to try and find a short.Yah
