Due to the rain out last friday for V8less Drags, I just spoke to Budpark and they are allowing imports and sport compacts to run this Friday, July 26, All-bike drags.
And since this is already advertised as "All-Bike" there should be zero V8s. Just Bikes and Imports/SCC. True V8less.
They are only expecting about 30-50 bikes as well.
We will be doing a scaled down Show and shine in the gallery also. Small prizes, and trophys.
Please take note, this will run from 5pm to dusk, racing starts at 5pm, SO ARRIVE EARLY for the most runs. It will cost $20 to race, and $7 to spectate. There is no cost to enter the show and shine. Just follow the signs as you enter the pits through the competitor entrance.

Its too bad you can't make it Crystal. _We're not doing anything elaborate this time. _Don't have the resourse.
Mitsu: Thanks! I quite happy that Budpark is so cooperative. Props go to the new management. _On top of that, its the peolpe who showed up who influenced Budpark to extend the invitation to V8less.
Its hard to argue when you have almost 100 imports show up on a rainy day to race. _The scene is definately heading in the right direction. |
