I have a really big problem with my nfsu... every time after im done playing and i try and quit into windows my comp will freeze right up and i need to reboot it.. i tried to alt+enter out and close it numerous ways and it still freezes up. it's a legit copy and im running it on xphome, my comps only 3 months old and i shouldnt have this problem, i tried to reinstall, even reformat my comp but nothing seems to work.
anyone else have this happen or know of it? |

Make sure you are running the latest drivers for everything.
Video Card, Sound, and especially mobo (chipset, etc). |

check for windows updates, as well there is a patch for that game have you tried installing that yet? you could also try
alt+F4 (closes current program)
ctrl+alt+del (task manager)
alt+tab ( switch program)
let us know when you have tried that stuff and if you need more help just ask |

where does it freeze, is the game still visible, or windows, or just a black screen?
see if the resolution windows is on is the same as the game is being played at |

| everything quits out just fine, but then it freezes on my desktop with the cursor in the middle |

| i've looked for the update but can never seem to find it, and i cant try to update it out of nfsu cause it freezes... so if you can post a link that would be great... but other then that nothing else works |
