You should know better than to laugh at a wreck like that.

What if the owner left his brain strewn across the ditch of Route 66. Still ha ha??

What did you or the co-owner hit?

Not to be an ass, but coming from a person who seems to drive a echo....;)

We're not too sure what was hit. We bought the car from Florida. From what we were told the driver spun out and hit a light pole.

What is the badge on the silver trunk lid?

Anonymoose
It says 2.0L High Output. That was a replacement trunk lid from a 2002 R/T. The original trunk lid was in the same shape as a the bumper.

LOL.. I KNEW that was coming.. it may be an Echo, but it's a Toyota first! No denying Toyota quality! ;)

To be honest though, the SRT-4 did interest me.. lots of power for a decent price.

Looks like someone found out FWD E-brake drifting doesn't work all that well. Easy on the "Drift Bible" boys. :D :D

How hard was it to bring a written off car to Canada? With our strong dollar - this may be a good idea for a lot of more "high end" cars (valued at over 15K)

Anonymoose
It was fairly easy since it was already on the RIV's list of admissable vehicles even though it wasn't available in Canada in 2003. Just make sure you give US Customs 72 hours of notice and be ready to pay at the border when you bring it back over.

The RIV has a decent guide on what to do and what to expect on this side of the border but make sure you find documentation on legally exporting vehicles from the US.

This car is in the "New Regular Car Crash Photos" section though.

The perception of some of the people on this board is lacking. Stupid comments by stupid people should just be kept to themselves. :thefinger

SplineZ
it was a echo... I was trying to adjust the seat, and it was jammed.. I almost pushed the "foot pad" out ;) damn rental cars haha

I took it back to them and said I dont feel safe cuz its too tiny, and makes funny sounds when i push on the foot pad :D (sounded like the lid on a snapple container)

LOL.. well, it is entry level. I wish I had picked up a M/T, but the auto's still pretty fun to drive around.

Wouldn't mind getting a V6 MX-3 for some fun..
